You won’t see it even if you happen upon it. That’s the idea.

The village is nestled in a deep thicket of trees and wild weeds nearby an abandoned orchard and field overtaken with wildflowers and tall grass. A stream surrounds the copse providing fresh water and ease of transport. Nearby stands an old farm house, barn, and grain silo. The adjacent map will give you an idea of the locations of things. The Tadpolery

Once the weather warms and leaves begin to bud and grow, the creek on the outskirts of Small Thicket swells with spring rainwater. The Tadpolery opens and tiny puddles become filled with squishy little eggs on their way to great things.

Lilymist and other fairies help raise frogs from tiny squishy eggs through wriggly tadpoles as it’s a lot for one amphibian to handle. Frog parents put a lot of trust into their fairy sitters to help care for their young and the fairies do a brilliant job. They have all sorts of activities planned for them such as spelling, fetch, bubble blowing, baking, and makeovers. Snack time is of course a yummy assortment of gnats, mosquitoes, and yummy moss.

The Village Market

The Market lies in the center of the village and is bustling with vendor carts, booths, traveling peddlers, and more. Piles of fresh fruits, seeds, and veggies. Glistening jars of honey and nectar, sacks of hand ground pollen flour, villagers and travelers cooking up tasty snacks for all meals of the day, adventurers selling strange wares they've discovered amongst human settlements. The Market is a thriving place full of yummy things.

The merchants are divided into two shifts, The Day Market and the Night Market depending on the species of the seller. Nocturnal villagers are most likely to be found at the Night Market, while the alternate is true for the former.

Queen’s Cocoon Tavern

Here you can find lodging, both short stay and long stay, as well as warm meals and a warm and inviting atmosphere. There's a large kitchen that cooks delicious food around the clock for both guests and locals and an even larger dining area full of mismatched tables and chairs for villagers to take a load off. Enter through the double doors and find a seat upon an overturned champagne cork to have a delicious lunch of dandelion lemonade and handpies filled with squash and mushrooms.  No doubt Ma Monarchtongue Daywimple will pop by to make sure you're enjoying yourself and have everything you need, including a full belly.

Fallen Tree Harbor

On the easternmost edge of the village is Fallen Tree Harbor, the village’s main boat landing where all sorts of creatures arrive by water from all sorts of places.

Many travelers and merchants arrive by the creek, either coming in from Pebble Sound or traveling from further inland. There are many makeshift flotation devices that creatures use for water travel and we've seen how creative they can be with found materials. Be it a small vessel crafted from a single fallen leaf or a larger ship cobbled from all manner of floating debris or even by simply swimming or floating with the bubbling current. Fallen Tree Harbor is a busy place.

Twinecork Family Farms

Twinecork Farms is located on the southern outskirts of the village. This family farm cultivates a small selection of native plants that are sold in the village and surrounding areas. They run one of the largest greenhouses in the area which allows them to grow fresh foods and plants all year round as well as start seedlings inside even during the Mud Months.

The Twinecork family has run this farm for as long as Baba Manzana can remember. Each family member, of which there are currently twelve, contributes in their own way. One member runs a stand in the Day Market, another cares for the ants and other livestock that help run the farm, and the youngest member Tickseed is a brilliant engineer. He’s helped craft a legion of new farm equipment including mechanical cranes and plows, harvesters, and steam powered vehicles.
