About the Artist
Alyssa R. Spencer is an illustrator, writer, and maker of small things.
She grew up tumbling down grassy hillsides, filling her pockets with acorns, reading piles and piles of books, and making lots of little things from objects otherwise intended for the bins. Truly, not much has changed.
Her work focuses on cozy nature and folklore with themes of fantasy, friendship, and exploration. World-building and storytelling are her favorite self indulgences.
She’s had custom art toys featured in shows at Mothership Toy Gallery in Philadelphia, PA and Woot Bear Gallery in San Francisco, CA.
